Amazing experience! The grandma pizza had the perfect thin crispy crust and a little kick to the sauce taking it to another level.. the cheese pizza was a classic.. and the ravioli is handmade and absolutely delicious! The staff is so friendly and even helped us navigate the best way to our hotel since it was snowing heavily and lots of accidents on the normal route. What a gem of a place, can’t wait to stop again here in the future!
We were staying at Great Wolf Lodge across the street and was looking for a quick, late dinner but didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg for mediocre food at the lodge. So we decided to order 2 pizzas from Big PaPa and we were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was cooked well and had a good crisp to it and ordering was simple to do online. I’d recommend this as a much cheaper alternative to eating at the lodge.
There’s a little joint just off the curve near Great Wolf Lodge where the smell of real brick oven pizza wraps around you like a good memory. We weren’t planning on staying long—just hungry, wet from the waterpark, and looking for something real. What we found was a man who kept the lights on just a little longer for strangers from South Jersey. No rush, he said. Just eat. We ordered two Traditionals—one gluten-free for our daughter with celiac. She took one bite and lit up. “This crust,” she said, “tastes like the real thing.” And it did. The Big Mama’s pie followed, hot and heavy and honest—like pizza used to be before shortcuts. This place isn’t just food. It’s soul on a plate. If you’re anywhere near Scotrun, skip the resort food. Go here instead. Bring your appetite and your gratitude.
Found this place while on a trip at Great Wolf Losge in Poconos & it def lives up to the name some of the best Brick Oven Pizza I’ve had!!! If ever in the area you should visit it is one of the better food places around for sure!!
This place blew my mind. You ever eat something so memorable that you go back and shock yourself again?? Don’t let the small space fool you! This is AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD! Everything we ordered was amazing. So authentic! Made with love! I don’t usually rave about places but this place really blew my mind. Can’t wait to go again!
Very fresh, delicious and fair pricing. The owner was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely recommend getting the cheese steak pizza with the Alfredo sauce.
Staying at Great Wolf and like to check out local places. We went in and ordered to go. Grandma’s pizza, pasta with sausage, hot honey wings and loaded fries. Everything was very good. The pizza was so fresh. Wings were nicely spiced. Pasta was very good, did not taste bland or basic like some pizza spots. Great spot. People who worked there were friendly.
First time here and we had a larger take out order. My wife and daughter got pizza 1/2 Hawaiian and 1/2 Buffalo Chicken, both loved it. I had wings and a wrap and they both were awesome. The service was great so friendly, definitely will be back next time we are at ESU
